Menthol prices declined by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh markets also weighed on the menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 5 to Rs 985, Rs 965 and Rs 910 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units and weak trend in producing belts also kept slight pressure on menthol prices.
