Menthol prices drifted in the range of Rs 5-15 per kg in the national capital today, owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Weakening trend in futures market and increased arrivals from the producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell up to Rs 15 to Rs 890, Rs 850, and Rs 780 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units and weak trend at futures market also put some pressure on menthol prices.
