Menthol rises on industrial demand

Menthol prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the local chemical market today on increased industrial demand.

Elsewhere, other chemicals moved in a narrow range on limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said increased industrial demand helped menthol prices to trade higher. Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices rose by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,355, Rs 1,315 and Rs 1,265 per kg, respectively.
