Menthol strengthens on increased demand

Menthol prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on increased demand from the consuming industries.

Traders said increased demand against tight supply due to rainy season, mainly led to a rise in menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices remained in demand and added Rs 5 each to Rs 875, Rs 835 and Rs 785 per kg, respectively.
