Mixed outing for Reliance stocks

Reliance group stocks had a mixed day on the bourses. Reliance Industries was up 2.76 per cent to Rs 590.80, Reliance Energy was up 0.53 per cent to Rs 589.85.

Even the Reliance GDR was up 1.06 per cent to $27.69 with volume of 81,100 GDRs in the early morning trade on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reliance Capital was down 0.33 per cent to Rs 240.1, IPCL was down 2.62 per cent to Rs 159.75 and Reliance Infrastructure was down 0.78 per cent to Rs 140.75.

Sources said, the stock appreciated on back of media reports the Ambani brothers are believed to have finally zeroed in on the date for announcing the peace formula and that the settlement would be announced on July 6, the third death anniversary of the group's founder chairman, Dhirubhai Ambani.
