Copra Rajapur prices rose in the spices market here today on good demand from stockists and exporters and steady offtake by millers. However, copra edible and copra Kozhikode prices declined due to the lack of buying support from retailers.

The price of Copra Rajapur Mumbai shot up by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 9,700 today from yesterday's closing level of Rs 9,550.

However, copra edible Mumbai prices dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 7,900 per quintal from Rs 8,000 earlier, while Copra office Kozhikode prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 6,500 from Rs 6,550 previously.

The price of other spices held steady in the absence of market moving factors.
