Titan Industries Ltd's net loss has gone up to Rs 5.18 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 1999, from the earlier Rs 0.92 crore. Titan's turnover has increased by 15 per cent to Rs 95.80 crore from the earlier Rs 82.98 crore. Titan's operating loss before depreciation at Rs 1.08 crore was less than the previous year's level of Rs 1.26 crore, the loss before and after tax was higher on account of a much larger exchange gain of Rs 5.26 crore which occurred in the first quarter of the previous year as compared to an exchange gain of Rs 1.17 crore in the current quarter. ta name="description" content="German Remedies' net sales stood at Rs 42.48 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal, up from Rs 37.43 crore recorded during the same quarter in the last financial year.
