Moong dal remains high on selective buying

On restricted activity, moong prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on selective buying against tight arrivals.

Marketmen said selective buying by retailers pushed up wholesale moong prices in the national capital. Moong Maharashtra and its dal chilka local edged up by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,750-7,050 and Rs 7,700-8,100 per quintal.

Urad 5,100-5,650, Urad chilka (local) 6,600-7,000, best 6,800-7,100, Dhoya 7,000-7,100, Moong Maharashtra 6,750-7,050, Dal moong chilka local 7,700-8,100 per quintal.
