Moong prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today.
Elsewhere, prices moved in a tight range on scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said fall in demand from retailers at existing higher levels mainly put pressure on the wholesale moong prices.
Trading activity, however, remained restricted following mounting mercury level, they said.
In the national capital, moong Maharahstra fell further by Rs 100 to Rs 6,450-6,750, while dal moong chilka local, dhoya local and best quality were also traded lower by the same margin at Rs 7,150-7,550, Rs 7,300-7,500 and Rs 7,900- 8,100 per quintal.
