Moong and gram prices drifted up to Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on slack demand at existing higher levels.
Adequate stocks position following pick up in arrivals also kept some pressure on the prices.
Elsewhere, other commodities prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said fall in demand at existing higher levels against comfortable stocks in the market mainly led to a fall in moong and gram prices.
Moong and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,800-5,200 and Rs 5,700-6,100, while dhoya local and best quality lost Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200-6,400 and Rs 6,600-6,800 per quintal.
Gram and its dal local variety shed Rs 25 each to Rs 2,250-2,275 and Rs 2,500-2,525 per quintal.
