Most paint stocks have seen negative movement in the last three months on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Shalimar Paints has fallen by 4.21 per cent from the beginning of December. It ended the day on Thursday at Rs 25 against its close of Rs 26.10 at the beginning of December.
Berger Paints which ended Thursday at Rs 67.50, has fallen by 8.47 per cent in the last three months as against its close of 73.75 at the beginning of December.
Jenson & Nicholson which ended Thursday at Rs 4.55, has fallen by 33.08 per cent against its close of 6.80 at the beginning of December. Snowcem has also fallen to Rs 16 from its close of Rs 25.50 at the beginning of December, a fall of 37.25 per cent

Among stocks that have seen positive movement are Asian Paints and Goodlass Nerolac. Asian Paints which ended Thursday at Rs 330.70, is up by 0.48 per cent from its close of 329.10 from the beginning of December while Goodlass Nerolac which is up by 14.04 per cent ended Thursday at Rs 156.30, against its close of Rs 137.05 at the beginning of December.
