In an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market, mustard oil prices rose by Rs 20 per quintal on fresh local buying.
Elsewhere, other edible and non-edible oils traded in a narrow range in the absence of worthwhile activity, and settled around previous levels.
Traders said fresh buying by local parties in view of marriage season helped mustard oil prices to trade higher.
