Prices of mustard and soyabean oils rose by up to Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on pick-up in demand from retailers.
Market analysts said pick-up in retailers demand ahead of the festivals mainly led to a rise in mustard and soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) rose by Rs 20 to Rs 6,020 per quintal, while mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils traded higher by Rs 5 each to Rs 760-915 and Rs 915-1015 per tin, respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also strengthened by Rs 20 each to Rs 6,520 and Rs 6,020 per quintal, respectively.
