Nafed defers onion imports from Pakistan

Agri coperative Nafed today said it has deferred onion imports from Pakistan as the domestic prices have started softening.

"Nafed defers plan to import onion as its prices have begun to soften in the domestic market," Nafed Chairman Bijender Singh told reporters here.

Nafed is the regulator for onion exports from the country.
