National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has zoomed 9.4% to Rs 44.6 on the BSE after posting a decline in net loss for the quarter ended March 31. The company posted a net loss of Rs 9.8 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 107.04 crore in the year-ago period.
The company's net sale turnover stood at Rs 1985 crore in Q4 march 2014 as against Rs 1149 in Q4 march 2013.
The other income for Q4 march 2014 stood at Rs 7.2 crore in contrast to Rs 7 crore for the corresponding period last year.
The stock has surged 22% on the BSE from Rs 36.8 on 29th May 2014, the day of the declaration of results, to Rs 44.9 this morning.
