DOMESTIC REVIEW - Non-ferrous Metals

The non-ferrous metals market witnessed a fairly flat week in domestic trade barring nickel, which rose on the London Metals Exchange (LME) as well.
 
Nickel cathodes closed at Rs 812 per kilogram, up by Rs 47 from last Monday's close of Rs 765.
 
Copper wire bars closed at Rs 185. Last Monday, the price stood at Rs 185.50. Copper heavy scraps climbed up to Rs 156 from last week's Rs 154 after a minor fall last Tuesday. Copper utensil scraps ended trade at Rs 139 from Rs 138 last week.
 
Brass utensil scraps closed at Rs 108.50 up by 50 paise from the previous week. Brass sheet cutting closed at Rs 113 the same as last week.
 
Aluminium utensil scraps closed at Rs 83 up from last week's Rs 82. Lead ingots closed at Rs 51.50. The price fell to Rs 50 on Thursday but rose back to Rs 51 on Saturday.
 
Aluminium ingots closed at Rs 104, up by a rupee from last week. Zinc slabs fell by a rupee to close at Rs 74. Tin slabs closed at Rs 510, lower that Rs 517 last week.
