Nickel prices moved up by Rs 4.90 to Rs 882 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, tracking a firm trend at the spot markets on pick up in demand from alloy-makers.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in November moved up by Rs 4.90, or 0.56%, to Rs 882 per kg, with a business turnover of 7,734 lots.
