Nifty below 4,000; Bharti, DLF slip 3%

The NSE Nifty has broke its physchological 4,000-mark, and is down 50 points at 3,990.

Bharti Airtel has plunged 3.5% to Rs 696.

DLF has slipped over 3% to Rs 384. Maruti and Reliance Communications have dropped over 2% each to Rs 604 and Rs 433, respectively.

ACC and Tata Motors have shed 1.8% each at Rs 513 and Rs 419, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates and Satyam have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 146 and Rs 443, respectively.

Wipro and Hindalco are up 1% each at Rs 442 and Rs 144, respectively.
