The NSE index, Nifty, hogged the limelight today as the index scaled a new all-time intra-day high of 4269. The index also settled at a record level of 4261 - up 46 points.The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 60 points and displayed positive movement through the session. The index touched a high of 14,451, and finally settled with a gain of 115 points at 14,419.
