The equity derivatives market rebounded along with the cash market on Friday on bottom fishing. Nifty futures notched gains amidst low volumes.
May Nifty futures closed 7.20 points higher at 938.50. It commanded a premium over the S&P CNX Nifty which rose 2.10 points at 934.40.
Nifty futures as a whole witnessed an addition of around one lakh shares as open interest.
The total volume of the derivatives market was flat at Rs 1761.70 crore over previous day
