Page Industries has surged 8% to Rs 16,370, extending its previous day’s 5% gain on the NSE, after the company reported a healthy 34% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs 47 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015 (Q4), on the back of strong sales. The company had posted a profit of Rs 35 crore in the same quarter last year.
Net sales of the company during the quarter review grew 33% to Rs 372 crore on a Y-o-Y basis.
Meanwhile, the board has recommended total dividend of Rs 39 per share, which includes the final dividend of Rs 20 per share for the financial year 2014-15 and first interim dividend of Rs 19 per share for the current financial year 2015-16.

The stock opened at Rs 15,405 and touched a record high of Rs 16,500 on the NSE. A combined 14,311 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE till 0938 hours.
