Peas prices slip on subdued demand

In limited deals, peas prices moved down by Rs 25 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackness in demand against adequate stocks.

In the national capital, peas white and green prices declined by Rs 25 each to Rs 1,975-2,075 and Rs 2,075-2,275 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,300-4,850, Urad chilka (local) 5,100-5,500, best 5,550-5,850, Dhoya 5,700-5,800, Moong 4,250-4,650, Dal moong chilka local 5,150-5,550, Moong Dhoya local 5,400-5,600 and best quality 5,900-6,100
