In restricted buying activity, peas prices rose by Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today, on fresh buying by stockists and retailers to meet the ongoing marriage season demand.

Elsewhere, other commodities continued to trade in a narrow range and settled around previous levels.

Market analysts said fresh buying by stockists and retailers to meet the ongoing marriage season demand mainly pushed the wholesale peas prices.

In the national capital, peas white and green prices rose by Rs 200 each to Rs 2,200-2,300 and Rs 2,300-2,500 per quintal, respectively.
