State-run trading firm, PEC has invited bids for importing 15,000 tonnes of refined, bleached and deodorised palmolein (edible grade palm oil) to ease the shortage of edible oil in the country.
The trading firm is seeking the delivery of edible oils at Chennai and Tuticorin ports in South India between November 20 and December 20, the notice said.
PEC said that the bid would remain open till November 18.
