Black pepper and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal each in the national capital today on sluggish demand against adequate stocks. Lower advices from producing belts also put pressure on the prices.
Black pepper and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 16,300-16,400 and Rs 16,900-18,600 per quintal, respectively. Marketmen said reduced offtake by local parties pulled down black pepper and turmeric prices in the wholesale kirana market here.
