Power Finance Corporation (PFC) surged 6.95 per cent to Rs 154.60 after the company announced a 32 per cent rise in its fourth quarter net profit. Its net profit rose to Rs 390.58 crore and its total income rose 33.09 per cent to Rs 1819.27 crore in th quarter.
The scrip opened at Rs 154.60 and saw an intraday high of Rs 161.80 and low of Rs 147. A total of 3,178,807 shares changed hands on the BSE.
