Pistachio prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists.

Fall in supplies from overseas markets also supported the rise in prices. Pistachio hairati and peshwari edged higher by Rs 10 to conclude at Rs 1,000-1,110 and Rs 1,210-1,310 per kg, respectively.

Market analysts said fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up pistachio prices in the dry fruit market here.
