Potato futures prices fell by Rs 2.80, to Rs 684 per quintal today, as speculators offloaded their positions, driven by less offtake in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity exchange counter, potato for delivery in May fell by Rs 2.30, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 684 per quintal.
The potato for delivery in April eased by Rs 2, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 642.40 per quintal, while price for delivery in March also traded lower by Rs 0.30 paise, or 0.05 per cent to Rs 662.70 per quintal.
