Potato prices fell by 1.04% to Rs 630.60 per quintal in futures trade today on reduced offtake by traders against increased arrivals from the producing belts.
At the Multi Commodity exchange, potato for delivery in April shed Rs 6.60, or 1.04%, to Rs 630.60 per quintal, with a business turnover of two lots.
The May contract lost Rs 3.10, or 0.51% to Rs 600, with an open interest of a single lot.
Traders attributed the fall in potato futures to increased arrivals in the physical markets.
