Premiums on calls surge

Most stocks futures continued to trade at an premium to the underlying spot market. Interestingly, the premium on calls of most stock options too shot up across the board.

Moreover, calls dominated the trading. Tisco January Rs 450 call traded at Rs 22.50 compared to Rs 19.90 on Thursday. Reliance Rs 600 call was traded at Rs 17.10 compared to Rs 12.80 on Thursday.

Tisco's January Rs 460 call was traded at Rs 17.70 compared to Rs 15.55 on Thursday.
