Prices of toor dal, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, wheat and sooji went up, while sugar declined marginally in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.
Toor dal sharply moved up by Rs 900 to Rs 6,900 from its previous rates of Rs 6,000. It started to rise on Wednesday and continued to rise till today.
Urad dal increased by Rs 100 and stood at Rs 6,200 from its previous rate of Rs 6,100 showing a graphic trend.
Moong dal rose by Rs 200 and stood at Rs 6,800 from last week's rates of Rs 6,600. Its prices started rising from Wednesday and continued till today.
Gram dal rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3,100 from its previous rates of Rs 3,000. It maintained a mixed trend rising on Wednesday last and ending at today's rates.
Wheat rose marginally by Rs 50 ended at Rs 1,950 from Rs 1,900. It rose on Wednesday last and ending at same rates today.
Sooji increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1,950 from its previous rates of Rs 1,900. It started rising on Thursday last and closed at today's rates.
Sugar decreased by Rs 50 to Rs 2,950 from last week's rates of Rs 3,000. It maintained its downward trend from Thursday onwards.
Maida prices remained unaltered throughout the week.
