Shares of Prism Cement were trading higher by 6% to Rs 112, extending their 5% gains in the past two days on the BSE, after Morgan Stanley bought an additional stake in the company through open market.
On May 25, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore PTE had purchased 3.14 million shares representing 0.62% stake of Prism Cement at an average price of Rs 101 per share, the BSE bulk deal data shows.
As on March 31, 2015, Morgan Stanely Asia (Singapore) PTE held 1.35% stake in the cement & cement products manufacturer, the shareholding pattern data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 101 and hit a high of Rs 115 on the BSE. A combined 1.29 million shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE till 1452 hours.
