Provisional: Markets end lower for 4th straight session

Markets ended lower for fourth consecutive trading session as investors sold off PSU and fast moving consumer goods stocks.
    
Trading was on a cautious note ahead of Reserve Bank of India, US Federal Reserve, Bank of England and European Central Bank’s policy meeting this week.

On a provisional basis, the 30-share Sensex ended lower 170.16 points at 19,578.03 the 50-share Nifty declined 56.15 points at 5,830.05 levels.
