Provisional: Markets snap 5-day losing streak, ends flat

Markets ended on a flat note, snapping the five day consecutive fall as buying in software makers countered the fall witnessed in the financial space.
    
Trading was also on a cautious note ahead of the US Federal Reserve, Bank of England and European Central Bank’s policy meeting this week.

On a provisional basis, the 30-share Sensex ended higher 12.81 points at 19,361.15 and the 50-share Nifty declined 13.05 points at 5,742 levels.
