PSL shares rise 3% on bagging NTPC order

PSL Ltd is trading higher by 3% at Rs 72.75 after the company received an order worth Rs 232 crore from National Thermal Power Company (NTPC).

“The leading public sector company NTPC has on June 29, awarded the company a contract valuing Rs 231.83 crore for supply of make-up water pipes package for its Solapur Super Thermal Power Project (2x6MW),” the company said in a filing to the stock exchanges.

The contract comprises design, manufacturing, testing, inspection, transportation, delivery etc, it added.

The stock opened at Rs 71.30 and hit a high of Rs 73.75 on the NSE. A total of 367,334 shares have changed hands on the counter till 1049 hours.
