The wholesale pulses market ended on a mixed note today as prices of select commodities improved on retailers buying, while a few others remained weak on sluggish demand at prevailing levels.

Market analysts said retailers buying helped gram and its dal prices to trade marginally higher.

Gram and its dal local variety rose by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,325-2,350 and Rs 2,575-2,600 per quintal.

However, urad and its dal chilka local and best quality were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,850-5,400, Rs 5,450-5,850, while its best quality and dhoya traded lower by the same margin to Rs 6,050-6,350 and Rs 6,200-6,300 per quintal.
