Quiet conditions prevailed in the wholesale pulses market today as most of commodities closed around previous levels after moving in a tight range.

Arrivals and offtake remained at a low ebb and business turnover also dropped considerably.

Market analysts said absence of buying activity at prevailing high levels against increased supplies mainly kept prices unchanged.
