In a mixed pattern of trade, masoor and malka prices rose on increased retailers demand, while arhar and gram prices weakened on adequate stocks position.
Market analysts said scattered demand from retailers helped masoor and malka prices to move up.
However, adequate stocks position against lack of buying supported led to the fall in arhar and gram prices, they said.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,950-3,150 and Rs 3,100-3,350, respectively.
Dal masoor local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 3,500-3,600 and Rs 3,800-4,100 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality also edged up by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,450-3,500 and Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, gram declined by Rs 25 to Rs 2,415-2,440, while its dal local and best quality shed Rs 25 each to Rs 2,800-2,815 and Rs 2,900-3,025 per quintal, respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara also fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,300-3,800 and Rs 4,900-5,300 per quintal, respectively.
