Rail-related stocks have pared early gains and are trading lower by up to 7% after the railway minister Suresh Prabhu started unveiling the Railway Budget in which he said the government envisages investment of over Rs 850,000 crore over five years.
At 1PM, Hind Rectifiers was up 2% at Rs 80, Kernex Microsystems was down 0.1% at Rs 47, Titagarh Wagons down 3% at Rs 560 and Siemens dipped 1.3% at Rs 1,320, while Texmaco Rail and Engineering, Cimmco, Container Corporation of India and Kalindee Rail Nirman are down 1.1-8% each.
