Rajmah chitra prices up on retailers demand

Rajmah chitra prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in demand from retailers.  

Elsewhere, other commodity prices continued to rule steady in restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels. Market analysts said pick-up in demand from retailers mainly pushed up wholesale rajmah chitra prices.

In the National Capital, rajmah chitra (Pune), (China) and red variety were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,000-4,400, Rs 4,100-4,300 and Rs 4,300-4,400 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's quotations per quintal: 

Urad 3,850-4,250, Urad chilka (local) 4,700-5,100, best 5,300-5,800, Dhoya 5,150-5,250, Moong 3,930-4,930, Dal moong chilka local 4,900-5,300, Moong Dhoya local 5,200-5,400 and best quality 5,800-6,000

Masoor small 2,700-2,900, bold 2,850-3,100, Dal Masoor local 3,200-3,300, best quality 3,500-3,800, Malka local 3,300-3,350, best 3,450-3,550, Moth 1,650-1,950, Arhar 3,150-3,650, dal arhar dara 4,750-5,150
