Ramco Systems surges on pact with Cobham Aviation Services

Shares of Ramco Systems have surged 12% to Rs 972 on the BSE in early morning trades after the company announced the signing of multi-million dollar tech transformation deal with Cobham Aviation Services.

Ramco Systems, a leading Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) and MRO software provider to the global aerospace and defence industry, has signed a multi-year global mandate with Cobham Aviation Services, aviation solution specialist to defence, government and commercial customers, to implement a company-wide engineering transformation programme, Ramco Systems said in a statement.

Cobham Aviation Services will implement the Ramco Aviation suite to benefit from best practice business processes for engineering, logistics and airworthiness management of its 140+ fleet around the world. The Ramco Aviation suite will replace multiple legacy systems to deliver one integrated and unified view of engineering operations to Cobham Aviation Services worldwide, the company added.

The stock opened at Rs 926 and touched high of Rs 982 on the BSE. A combined 111,098 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE.
