Ranbaxy GDR rises 1.46%

 Among ISDI Global Depository Receipts stocks, only two advanced and four lost ground. The gainers were Ranbaxy (up 1.46 per cent to $24.35 registering volumes of 11,000 GDRs) followed by Bajaj Auto (up 0.92 per cent to $22).

 The major losers were Reliance (down 5.29 per cent to $24.15 registering volumes of 57,402 GDRs), Hindalco (down 4.35 per cent to $27.50 with volumes of 8,150 GDRs) and State Bank of India (down 2.96 per cent to $29.50 with volumes of 7,240 GDRs).

 Meanwhile, on December 5, the ISDI was down 1.49 per cent to 925.86 and was trading at a price-to earnings ratio of 17.95 (down 1.53 per cent).

 All ISDI American Depository Receipts lost ground. The major losers were HDFC Bank down 3.41 per cent to $26.35 followed by Infosys down 2.62 per cent to $81.13 and Satyam down 2.49 per cent to $21.55. Among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were 11 losers, two gainers and two ruled steady.
