The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 0.49 per cent to 886.66 in the early morning trades in the western markets on Friday. Among the ISDI GDR stocks, three advanced and four lost ground.
 
The gainers were Ranbaxy, up 1.67 per cent to $21.35 registering volume of 300 GDRs, Hindalco, up 1.39 per cent to $25.60, and SBI, up 1.10 per cent to $22.00 registering volume of 4,110 GDRs.
 
The major losers were ITC, down 1.33 per cent to $22.30 registering volume of 2,940 GDRs, Reliance, down 0.80 per cent to $21.13 and L&T, down 0.38 per cent to $18.43.
 
The ISDI, representing the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively traded companies, edged up further by 0.36 per cent to 885.21 on the previous day and was trading at a price to earnings multiple of 16.22 (up by 0.33 per cent).
 
Among ISDI ADR, five advanced and three lost ground. Most of the ADR prices closed up on Thursday. Infosys closed up 1.63 per cent at $54.26 with a total volume of 6.42 lakh ADRs, Dr Reddy's closed up 0.19 per cent at $16.03 with a volume of 1,42 lakh ADRs, Rediff.com ADRs ended up 0.41 per cent at $7.35 with a volume of 46,938 ADRs being traded, Satyam Computer closed up 4.18 per cent at $20.67 with a total of 3.22 lakh ADRs being trade, VSNL closed up 0.14 per cent at $7.40 while Wipro also closed up 1.79 per cent at $17.59 with a total volume of 1.75 lakh ADRs being traded.
 
Among those which lost were HDFC Bank which closed down 0.49 per cent at $28.41, ICICI Bank closed down 1.21 per cent at $12.20, and Sify went down 0.87 per cent to close at $4.55. However, the GDR of Reliance dropped to $ 21.13 from $21.40 previously.
