The Sensex and is now up 157 points at 10,372. Reserve Bank of India Governor Y V Reddy has hiked the repo and reverse repo rate by 25 basis points. However, the CRR and bank rate remain unchanged.HDFC Bank has rallied 4% to Rs 758. ICICI Bank has added 3.4% to Rs 533.NTPC and Reliance Communications have surged 3.5% each to Rs 111 and Rs 249, respectively. HLL and Dr.Reddy's have soared 3.3% each to Rs 236 and Rs 1,300, respectively.HDFC and Tata Motors are up nearly 3% each at Rs 1,107 and Rs 704, respectively.Tata Steel and ACC have advanced 2.5% each to Rs 491 and Rs 811, respectively.Out of 2,292 stocks traded so far, 1,518 have advanced, 703 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
