Refined palmolein recover on better demand

Refined palmolein rose modestly at the oils and oilseeds market here today due to fresh demand from retailers amidst higher Malaysian advices.  

Groundnut oil, however ended stable on lack of worthwhile buying activity. Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial advanced further owing to higher industrial offtake.

Castorseeds futures market also strengthened on persistent export enquiries. 

In the edible oil segment, refined palmolein gained by Rs 5 per 10kgs to Rs 526 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 521 while groundnut oil held steady at Rs 760 per 10kgs.

Turning to non-edible section, castorseeds bold went up by Rs 25 per 100 kgs to Rs 4,025 from Rs 4,000 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kgs to Rs 835 as against Rs 830 previously.

Linseed oil remained unchanged at Rs 600 per 10kgs. 

Moving to futures section, castorseeds December delivery resumed lower at Rs 3,772 and moved in a range of Rs 3,831 and Rs 3,760 before ending at Rs 3,819 from Rs 3,783 last Saturday, showing a rise Rs 36 per tonne.
