 "Refined soya oil down 0.5% on weak demand")
Refined soya oil prices extended losses for the second straight day by falling 0.57% to Rs 728.60 per 10 kg in futures trading today due to weak demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April fell further by Rs 4.15, or 0.57%, to Rs 728.60 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,15,030 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in March shed Rs 2.50, or 0.34%, to Rs 728 per 10 kg in 25,770 lots.
Analysts said weak demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
