Refined soya oil declined by Rs 8 to Rs 565.80 per 10 kgs in futures market today as speculators indulged in profit-booking at higher levels amid a weak trend at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for November contract fell by Rs 8, or 1.39 per cent to Rs 565.80 per 10 kg with a business turnover of 3 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in December contract traded lower by Rs 8, or 1.37 per cent to Rs 577.95 per 10 kg in a single lot.

Market analysts said profit-booking by speculators amid a fall in demand at spot markets kept pressure on the refined soya oil prices at futures trade here.
