Refined soya oil prices declined by Rs 1.20, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 441.95 per 10 kg in futures trade today owing to sluggish demand at spot markets against adequate stocks position.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for July contract declined by Rs 1.20, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 441.95 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 197 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in August contract traded lower by the same margin at Rs 444.30 per 10 kg, with a business volume of 17 lots.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position, against sluggish demand in the spot market helped refined soya oil prices to trade lower at futures market here.
