Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 3.15 to Rs 622.15 per 10 kg in futures market today on pick-up in spot market demand in line with a firming overseas trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May rose by Rs 3.15, or 0.50% to Rs 622.15 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of four lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June gained Rs 2.55, or 0.41% to Rs 629.80 per 10 kg, with an open interest of two lots.
Traders said pick-up in spot market demand helped refined soya oil futures prices to rise.
