Refined soya oil futures slipped by Rs 4, or 0.61% to Rs 648.55 per 10 kg today, due to sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the January refined soya oil fell by Rs 4, or 0.61%, to Rs 648.55 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 77,600 lots.
The December contract also moved down by Rs 3.35, or 0.52%, to Rs 642,85 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of 99,500 lots.
The fresh decline in refined soya oil futures was due to the fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, traders said.
